This bug report originated from issue QTBUG-2853 http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-2853 --- Description --- I've attached a simple test case demonstrating the problem. I can reproduce the problem on Qt/X11 4.4 as well as current 4.5 snapshots, haven't tried any other platforms.

I can verify that the draw-over-scrollbars issue was present in 4.4 on Linux, but no longer in 4.5+. Also, the plugin itself is drawn in the correct place. However, the issue now is that the vertical scrollbar doesn't work very well (try clicking and dragging the thumb; it appears stuck). This was _not_ an issue in 4.4.
(In reply to comment #2) > However, the issue now is that the vertical scrollbar doesn't work very well > (try clicking and dragging the thumb; it appears stuck). This was _not_ an > issue in 4.4. Tried to reproduce on windows with the head of Qt 4.7 and couldn't see the scrolling problem
I can also reproduce the problem that the vertical scrollbar gets stuck. Antonio, you've become a scrollbar expert lately :), do you have any idea what might cause that?
Cannot reproduce on Linux with current 4.7 + WebKit ToT.
