		<description>I&#039;m surprised the concept of the Block Formatting Context wasn&#039;t mentioned during the Clearance discussion. This is one of the least known about concepts in CSS and yet it is vitally important when writing stylesheets in order to isolate one visual style from another.

Hint: Clearance isn&#039;t just about a clear:left CSS property. It can also be achieved by leaving a block formatting context.</description>
