Looks like the links to articles from the Planet WebKit feed don't work; not in Safari 3 anyway.

@smallenperl

We're certainly trying to keep it clean; I think the WebKit project in general manages to keep our communications polite and professional.

I am very happy about how the WebKit project is opening up and trying to engage the community more. I think that certain kinds of projects do benefit greatly from transparency.

Unfortunately, certain other projects' Planets have become engaged in personal attacks against other contributors or against corporations (Microsoft). Professionalism is important to me and I have been disappointed by some Planets. I do not think a public blog forum like this is the right place for such invective.

I think Microsoft, Apple, etc. do have higher standards for online conduct, however. I have been greatly impressed by the WebKit project and do think that it can create a strong community. The technology is unsurpassed in the industry. I look forward to many more posts, particularly some more technical ones that highlight the ways WebKit shines.
