I've just tried knocking together a quick page which uses the 'animate' tag, but nothing is animated (r31370). Congratulations on getting bashed through the Acid 3 tests!

The WebKit team released a stable, usable browser engine that anyone can test at their leisure. To me, that's a world of difference. It sputtered a couple of times partway through then ended up at 97/100. (The two problem sometimes-stalling tests, I assume.) I then reloaded the page and it quickly breezed to 99/100.
