Browser Survey Shows Major Growth for Safari

You may have already seen this, but a recent browser market share report from Net Applications shows Safari at 3.19%, a 76% increase from 1.81% last year. Safari maintains its standing as the #3 browser. With help from all of you, we’ll do our best to keep those numbers growing, especially as WebKit-based browsers start hitting other platforms like Nokia’s S60.

    So… does that indicate that the Mac user % is up, or that less Windows users use the net?

    Just imagine how much it might go up if it were compatible with WYSIWYG editors, like TinyMCE. I would like to use Safari, but can’t because of this problem. Yes, I know, it is on the hitlist…

    1%-3% - sounds discouraging. How many users are behind these tiny numbers?
