More New WebKit Committers

Posted by Maciej Stachowiak on Sunday, March 5th, 2006 at 5:36 pm

I’d like to announce some recent new WebKit Committers.

Antti Koivisto was one of the earliest developers of khtml. He now works on the Series 60 Browser for Nokia, based on WebCore and JavaScriptCore, and has contributed some excellent rendering patches to WebKit. Alexander Kellet worked on ksvg and Konqueror bookmarks back in the day, and now he’s been a major contributor to WebKit’s SVG support. Oliver Hunt manages to find time to shore up WebKit’s SVG filter support in between Haskell.NET hacking. Joost de Valk has spent a lot of time organizing bug reports in buzilla, making test cases, and fixing our site.

Please join me in congratulating Antti, Alex, Oliver and Joost.

Nice work guys! More committers means quicker code/review/commit cycles… Keep it up :-)
